The Fusion Amp FA502 is a mono two way amplifier module designed for active loudspeaker applications requiring high output power. It is intended for systems with separate amplification channels for low and high frequency drivers. The module incorporates two 500 W NCORE® Class D amplifier channels and an onboard DSP. Signal processing is configured using Hypex Filter Design software, allowing adjustment of crossover filters, levels and system parameters for two way active loudspeaker designs. The FA502 supports a range of analogue and digital input options, including balanced analogue XLR input and loop through, unbalanced analogue RCA input, digital AES input and loop through, digital S/PDIF input and loop through, and optical Toslink input. This allows integration with a wide range of analogue and digital audio sources. Optional accessories such as the Fusion Remote Kit or Fusion OLED Display can be used for remote control and system feedback. Multiple Fusion Amp modules can be configured in a master-slave arrangement to form multi channel active loudspeaker systems. The FA502 is intended for applications where compact integration of high power amplification and DSP is required for two way active designs.
